Ingredients
1 1/2cupchickpeasboiled
1/4tspturmeric powder
1/4tsp cumin powder
2-3sprigs thyme
4tbspolive oilfor pan frying
salt and pepper to tasteskip salt for babies
Instructions
Add the ingredients for the patty namely the chickpeas and spices to a blender and blend to make a coarse mixture that's easy to mold.
Heat olive oil in a pan. Make small patty shapes and pan-fry on medium flame. Takes about 2-3 minutes on each side until the patty turns lightly brown.
These are very delicate so take care when you turn to cook the other side.
Serve with a mint and yogurt dip.
Notes
You can even make an egg coating for the chickpea patty for ease when holding. Use 1 beaten egg to dip the patty before you shallow fry on the pan.
