Peanut butter Breakfast Bars for Kids

A peanut butter and oatmeal breakfast bar recipe for kids

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 apple (grated)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2-3 drops pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients well.
  • Transfer into a rectangle baking dish and pat down with your fingers. Use a baking paper lining on the dish for easy removal after baking.
  • Bake at 200 degree C for 30 minutes.
  • Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  •  Can store in the fridge in air tight containers for up to 4 days. 
  • For longer storage you can transfer them into zip lock bags and freeze. This way the bars can be used for upto 2 weeks.
